Any citizen should obtain a permit to cut tree types such as Jackfruit, coconut, breadfruit, and palmyra.
Application to obtain timber cutting permit
Required documents to obtain the timber cutting permit.
- Duly Filled application
- Copy of the deed of the relevent land ( Should've certified by the Grama Niladhari)
- Copy of the plan (Should've certified by the Grama Niladhari )
- Extract for the relevant deed issued withi n a week.
- If the deed has life intrest owner/ owners, a letter of consent regarding timber cutting ( Should've certified by the Grama Niladhari ) If the life intrest owner/owners have died applicant should present certified copy of the death certificate.
- If you are presenting a deed of declaration, it should submit with a grama niladhari report stating the clear holding of the land.
Timber Transport Permits (New Issuances/Extensions)
Application for timber transportation
Required documents to obtain the timber transportation permit
- Duly Filled application
- Copy of the deed of the relevent land ( Should've certified by the Grama Niladhari)
- Copy of the plan (Should've certified by the Grama Niladhari )
- Last extract for the relevant deed issued within a week.
- If the deed has life intrest owner/ owners, a letter of consent regarding timber transportation. ( Should've certified by the Grama Niladhari ) If the life intrest owner/owners have died applicant should present certified copy of the death certificate.
- If you are presenting a deed of declaration, it should submit with a grama niladhari report stating the clear holding of the land.
- If you are purchasing timber you should present the sales receipt which is certified by the Grama Niladhari..
- If the timber set has transported in early state you should present the transportation permit.
- Grama Niladhari Report regarding tree planting.
For Timber Purchasing -----------››
- If you are purchasing timber from a saw mill you should represent the relevent bill and the registered certificate of the saw mill..
- If you are purchasing timber from a personal land you should represent the sales receipt ehich is certified by the Grama Niladhari.
Animal Transport Permits
Animal Transportation Permit
For the animals which are stated under the Animal act a permit should obtain to transport animals from one divisional secretary division to another and within the divisional sectretary division. The Applicatoin is issued by the Katana MOH office. To get the permitt you should submit the duly filled application along with the relevant certifications. The permit will issue after checking the submited documents.
Business Name Registration Permits
1. Duly filled application.
2. If you are registering a firm every patner should sign in the application. If there is an agreement among partners it also should be represented.
3. Clearly state the nature of the business including all the activities of the business.
Accepting applications and issuuing certificates
Applications are accepted until 3.00pm on working days. Business registration certificate will be issued within 3 working days for the fully completed applications. .

- දේශීය ආදායම් කොමසාරිස් ජෙනරාල්ගේ නිශ්කාෂන සහතිකය/ව්‍යාපාර පිහිටි පළාතේ ආදායම් කොමසාරිස්ගේ නිශ්කාෂන සහතිකය.
ලේඛන පරික්ෂා කිරීම. - අනුමැතිය ලැබුණු පසු ගාස්තු අය කිරීම.
- අළුත් කිරීමේ සටහන් යෙදු බලපත්‍ර ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම්ගේ අත්සනට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම.
- අළුත් කරන ලද බලපත්‍රය නිකුත් වේ.

නව උකස් ආයතනයක් ලියාපදිංචි කිරීම සදහා
1. අයදුම්කරුවන් ආදායම් කොමසාරිස් කාර්යාලය මගින් අයදුම්පත්‍රයක් ලබාගත යුතුය. (අංක 204, ඩෙන්සිල් කොබ්බෑකඩුව පාර, බත්තරමුල්ල) .
2. ආදායම් කොමසාරිස්ගේ අනුමැතිය ලද පසු පහත ලේඛනවල ඡායා පිටපත් ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලය වෙත බාර දීම.
- අයදුම්පත.
- දිවුරුම් ප්‍රකාශය.
- ව්‍යාපාර ලියාපදිංචි සහතිකය
- පසුගිය ශේෂපත්‍රය
- පසුගිය වසරේ උකස් බලපත්‍රය
- ආයතනයේ රක්ෂණ සහතික
- පොලිස් වාර්තාව
- ඇප තැන්පතුවට අදාළ ගිවිස්නාව.
3. ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම්ගේ අනුමැතිය ලද පසු බලපත්‍ර ගාස්තු අය කිරීම.
- ඇප තැන්පතුව - රු.100000.00
- ආරම්භක ගාස්තු - රු. 25000.00
- උකස් බලපත්‍ර ගාස්තු - රු. 5000.00
- මුද්දර ගාස්තු - රු.500
4. බලපත්‍රය නිකුත් කිරීම.
