The Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) of Divisional Secretariat Katana has been established to promote integrity, prevent corruption, strengthen transparency and enhance accountability within the premises.The IAU serves as the institutional focal point for implementing anti-corruption measures, promoting ethical governance and fostering a culture of integrity in accordance with applicable national policies, legislation and institutional requirements.
Key Objectives
- Prevent corruption and promote a culture of integrity within the Institute.
- Ensuring transparency and accountability in all the institution’s activities, and guaranteeing public access to information regarding the institution’s operations and decisions.
- Promote ethical governance and responsible conduct among employees.
- Establish secure mechanisms for reporting misconduct while maintaining confidentiality.
- Support collaboration with relevant authorities, including the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
